Just about recovered after an amazing VEMF!!
Yes, that's right, Victoria Electronic Music Festival went off with a BANG! The festival runs over two
days and sees talent from across Canada and the US converge on the historic Vancouver Island city of Victoria. Set in
a magnificent city square, VEMF kicked off on Saturday August 2nd with some of the hottest talent around. Around
2000 people came down to enjoy this free, open-air party in spectacular sunshine. The group was the friendliest encountered
yet in Canada, and ranged from goths to hippies to cyberkids to families who brought their own kids - all in the name of appreciating
electronic music!
After 10 hours of fabulous entertainment in the amazing summer weather, the festival then diverged to four club locations in the city,
one of which was Hush - Victoria`s premier house music venue. He kicked of the night with huge set, playing to a packed
house only 30 minutes in. The crowd was loving it and by the time Vancouver hot shot Derrick Vnuk took to the turntables,
there was not an empty inch on the dance floor!
If you're in the Pacific Northwest next August, we'd HIGHLY recommend a voyage to the Island for this free, annual event.
Showcasing some of the area's best DJ talent, it truly is the best representation fo the local scene. Bring on VEMF 2009!
The last few months have seen Mork focusing on his new career in the custom home media industry. His passion for music
and sound production is now being reflected in his profession, and he is LOVING it! Still, various projects have been
in the pipeline and are now coming to fruition....
Coming up next month on the bank holiday weekend, Mork will be playing the hugely popular
Victoria Electronic Music Festival on Vancouver Island. August 2-3 will see Victoria invaded by electronic music fans from all over Canada and
the north western States. Mork will be supporting technical genius Derrick Vnuk at Hush. The Festival is FREE so
come on down and see the hottest DJ talent on the West Coast!
Having been in Canada for a few months now, Mork is beginning to get his name about town. In November he was invited
to headline for a fresh new Vancouver promotion, This is Funkn Miami at the opium-den styled Lucy Mae Brown on Richards
St. The night was a huge success with the dancefloor pumping the whole night!
This was closely followed up an invitation
to ::SYSTEM:: on December 27. He was joined behind the decks by one of Vancouver's most talented DJ's, Siavash King XL.
The venue was the sultry underground cavern of the Lotus Lounge, which regularly plays host to Van's best house and prog nights.
In sad news for the London clubbing scene, Mork is now happily settled in Vancouver, Canada. He's checking
out the nights that are up and running and will let you know just as soon as his next performance is locked in so
if you happen to be here, you'll be able to swing by and check him out.
HUGE thanks to everyone who has come out and supported Mork over his years in London. Special thanks
go to all the promoters who've helped him along the way - Coordinated,
Electronic Sessions, UP^^,
Stretch First, Twisted Audio,
Twisted Melon, House Arrest and Get Frisky.
Extra special thanks need to go to Six Degrees and Damian Gelle of HeatUK/Push
and SouthWestFour for kick-starting Mork's career.

Thanks so much to everyone who came down for the last Six Degrees party in London. The Red Room, otherwise known
as T2 at Turnmills - was absolutely pumping all night long. All the other DJs on the night helped make this
a very special farewell to Six Degrees in London.
In other news, you'll next be able to catch Mork at one of his favourite parties - Electronic Sessions!
After huge success playing for them in June at one of their famous boat parties on the Thames, the ES boys have invited him
back to tear up the After Party for the August boat party edition.
The After Party will be held in the opulent surroundings of Annexo at Turnmills
and you can bet your life the boat party revellers are going to be up for a big one. The action kicks off from 6pm, so see you there!
This is possibly the biggest news announcement to date....
The end is nigh for the party that launched the career of Mork.... Six Degrees will finally be saying farewell to
London. And they're going out with a bang!
To see
out their party in style, Six Degrees has managed to secure T2 at Turnmills. They've also got Slacker down to lead the DJ pack for a night of quality house music. In support of Slacker will be Mork (of course!), Jay Grant (Twisted Melon) and Coordinated favourites
The Coordinators and Will Konitzer. This line up includes some of London's most skilled and technically-outstanding DJs and promises to blow the roof off!
The main room will be hosted by UP^^ with their blend of fiercely funky house. You'll be able to
catch StoneBridge, Herd & Fitz, Oliver Lang and resident Ben Dela-Pena - that's if you can drag yourself away from T2!
Advance tickets from Six Degrees are only £10 so email info@sixdegrees.f2s.com to get your hands on some. They'll
be £15 or more on the door, so this really is a bargain! See you down the front!

sure you've put the date in the diary.
April really was a fantastic month with two EXCELLENT parties. First up was
Stretch First with 6Deg favourite Rob Boy Right. Billed as pre-clubbing adventures, this night is the perfect warm up for a night
of clubbing in north London. Jan Mikulin was working the decks alongside Mork, and the place was rocking all night long. We hear they
have some truly exciting things coming up in the summer, so we highly recommend you get down there.
Following up at the end of the month was the launch of the new Sunday session at the White House in Clapham, P45. Coordinated had been invited to host the VIP room and sun terrace, and they couldn't have asked for better weather
to bring in the party. There's nothing quite like quality tunes, a sunny afternoon and a cold beer to bring out the best in the party
people, and that's exactly what happened. Mork was able to slot in a couple of sets, including warming up for headliner Freeform Five.
Mork, The Coordinators, Will Konitzer and Jay Grant all had the quality tunes cruising along all day! And Coordinated have been invited
to be residents for the VIP bar on P45 Sundays, so we'll be looking forward to catching up with them there again all throughout the summer!
Coming up next month will be one of Mork's most exciting outings yet. Twisted Melon
has invited Mork to join them on the decks for their 5th and FINAL birthday party. Headlining on the night will be none other than prog
legend Dave Seaman! We're really looking forward to this one, I can tell you!!! So put June 9th in your diary and get on down to
Jamm in Brixton. You can get your tickets here.
Happy Easter everyone! Coming up next on the calendar for Mork is the terrific new night, Stretch First.

This is only the second outing for the Stretch First crew after the roaring success of their launch party on March 10.
So many reasons to check out this night: superb mojitos - plus they're only 2 for a tenner! - fantastic atmosphere, its FREE, and of course,
you can be guaranteed of the best pre-party tunes in London. So make sure you come down to check it out so you can say you were part of it
from the beginning when its all that London's top social sets can talk about.

At the end of the month, you can catch Mork back together with the Coordinated
gang down at The White House for a super Sunday session. They're taking over the terrace bar (hopefully April 29th will be as sunny
as the Easter weekend!) for a session of what the White House does best: a little bit of cheer before work on Monday with a few bevvies
and some top quality tunage.
SUNDAY April 29th, Coordinated @ The White House, 65 Clapham Park Rd, Clapham, 5pm-late, £5/£7 after 6pm.
There's also a few thing in the pipeline with a regeneration of the fab London party Six Degrees. We can't reveal too much just yet
but let's just say the summer is going to be HOT! Think big name DJs, big clubs and that famous Six Degrees party vibe... More info
coming soon.....
Firstly, thanks to everyone who came down to help us celebrate St. Patrick's Day on Saturday night
for "How Dirty Is Your House" presents Coordinated at
the Charterhouse Bar. It was totally rammed upstairs and a good ol' boogie was had by all.
Coming up next month we have
a sensational new night out. Along a similar vein to How Dirty Is Your House at the Charthouse Bar is
Stretch First, a new night to help you limber up before your
clubbing exploits that's been put together by the Cut Rug
crew. Gone are the twisted ankles and pulled hammies of your clubbing days of old, so long as you Stretch
First! You can catch Mork at Canal 125, April 14, 8pm til late, FREE 125 Caledonian Rd, Kings Cross N1 9RG
Back in November, Mork was invited to help launch new prog night Twisted Audio in T2 at
Turnmills - it was an absolute blinder!!! The room was packed to the rafters all night long
with a super set from Omid 16B who had a little help from partner-in-crime Demi to really shake things up.
2007 has roared into action now too. Coordinated has become one
of London's leading house music promotions, going from strength to strength after beginning as Cigars &
Good Living in Guildford. Since then, they've torn up some of London's toughest dancefloors including Medicine Bar,
Jamm, Turnmills and Pacha! This month sees their return to the Charterhouse Bar in Farringdon for How Dirty Is
Your House? where they showcase the best of London's funky, progressive and tech house music in relaxed and luxurious
surroundings. Join Mork in helping them celebrate St Patrick's Day on March 17th, supported by The Coordinators,
Dominic Martin and Will Konitzer. Free before 10pm and £3 after with flyer. Oh, and don't forget the £1.50
Cointreau, lime and sodas!
We've got another sensational party coming up next month too - Mork will be joining the talented folk at Twisted
Melon with their re-vamped party at uber-underground venue The Annexe in Brixton. More details soon!
Well, do we have some exciting news for you!! Bit of background first: Three of London's
best progressive house night promoters have teamed up to bring all the party people out
there a great new night. Sarah Rodin has joined forces with Warren Mooney (Twisted Melon)
and Andy Newland (Audio Deluxe) to form TWISTED AUDIO. They've pulled off a coup for the
launch party and scored themselves T2 at legendary London club TURNMILLS. And best
of all, Mork's been roped in to help them kick off the party!
He'll be warming up the decks for the likes of Omid 16B, Welfare for the Digital,
Sam Hedland and Andy Newland. And in the main room, fiercely funky house night UP^^ will be
pumping out the tunes.
This month sees Mork hooking up with Get Frisky at the Battersea Club. He was invited to play for Get
Frisky at a moment's notice on Saturday July 1st after England crashed out of the World Cup to Portugal.
Get Frisky parties are held every month or two and are not advertised to the public - its a word-of-mouth
kind of thing... So Mork went on down and found a very intimate venue with an awesome super-friendly vibe.
When they asked him to return for Friday 13th, he leapt at the chance! After a bit of a slow start, the
place was packed and pumping at 3am and the crowd was still begging for more when 5am and last orders
came around.
Mork has been invited to perform for south London promotion House Arrest. You can catch him at Living in Brixton 10pm-4am, Friday June 2nd.
This month Mark returned to the Leopard Lounge for his residency with Six Degrees on May 6th for another storming party - the dancefloor was still packed when they were trying to close up shop for the night - as usual! Well done to the Six Degrees party people!!
February has been a super month for Mork. Firstly, on Feb 4th he began his residency with south-west London party Six Degrees together with the Infra boys and RobBoyRight. This was followed up with the same party crew playing host to the VIP room at the White House in Clapham for their new Sunday promotion, Push. The party was fantastic - what a way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
